If you dont finish in the top 4 in your league but you do win the Champions League does that mean you are automatically in the CL the following season ?

Nope, because this would cause an uneven amount of teams placed in the champions leagues next season.

I once tried to find that answer out myself over a month ago and the answer seems to be no.

This is a good question and initially I would have thought yes but it would be a complicated process as the group standings are seeded for 1st-4th place league finishes, so the answer is no.

Well maybe it should as it does in reality afterall competing on three fronts (League, cup and CL) is hard enough as it is and the League results always suffer as a result of success in other competitions. Maybe one for Nordeus to look at then to include the winners of the CL in the future as constantly winning the treble on every season is almost impossible ( 2 trebles in the last 3 seasons but managed to retain both the cup and CL this time around)

And teams do it every season in real life? I think if you're good enough to win the CL, you should be good enough to get at least 4th place in the league.

allow cup winners to also have a berth in the champions league along with champion league winners

you could have a statement that also allows runner ups or semi-finalists in the CL or cup to also be in the champions league if extra teams are needed.

it would be awesome though.. if there would be all champions league winners in the same champions league next season.. that would be the champions league of the champions :P
