Hidden Oppisition squad players before match, whats with that?

A good few times now that i have being scouting my opponent before a match to see what formation they will likely play and sometimes i see in their squad list on their profile hardly any players. maybe just half of the players they need. Like how are they doing that?

These are teams with no active manager, so the squad is generated automatically with what players that are available. If a full team cannot be formed you will win the match 5-0 but will not play.
