    League
First up for the Rangers today is an away league game in Bangkok, Thailand vs Black Sky. Earlier in the season they were a contender among the teams fighting for second place in the league but they've faded back to 6th with 3 losses in the last 5. Black Sky fielded a formation we haven't faced before, 3-5-1-1 so we switched things up a bit with a 3-1-4-1-1 to counter their strong midfield. Pasukmueng got the start at striker as we want to save Edri and Berezin for the second leg of Champions League this afternoon. Sticking with defensive + counterattack (which has been successful of late) with short passing down the middle to try and gain possession edge.

Possession was indeed close early on, 52-48 in our favor, and solid play from both sides. then in the 27th minute Sky's Areste' made a desperate foul in the box and Kupalang powered in the penalty shot. it was deja vu 16 minutes later, with Recio committing the foul and Kupalang left their keeper looking for his shorts as he drilled in a second penalty kick and we went into the half up 2-0.

AMR/MR Kevin George who was just acquired yesterday seemed a bit lost and discouraged, so we were forced to send Seo in for him to start the second half. We also switched to mixed passing, mixed focus to try and gain a bit more possession edge. Freed up to pass, the team responded and we held the ball more, and at 53' Seo took the layoff from Pasukmueng and ripped it into the top corner to make it 3-0. Five minutes later it was Pasukmueng taking the pass from Kupalang with "an emphatic finish" and we were four goals up. Saloman was carded at 73' but with strong possession we played out the match. Morale was completely in the tank (especially Vargas who seemed to really want to celebrate his clean sheet) as we had no time to enjoy the delights of Bangkok, having a home match in just over an hour, so we boarded the hypersonic jet to head back to the States.

All the teams at the top of the table are starting to separate themselves from the pack. Ubrekaleg Uvfall (30pts +25, Nut FC (30pts +12), and Tarek FC (29pts) all won their matches so we remain 10 points clear at the top. Kupalang is tied for the lead in goals (10) and leads in assists (11).

    Champions League
Weading home, we prepared the lineup for the Champions League second leg against Georgia's Abkhazia FC. We won the away leg 3-1, but we were taking no chances in this knockout stage. The team doctors iced down a couple players and the team psychologists were extremely busy as morale flat stunk up the joint. It was so bad we benched Vargas and gave Spampani the start at Keeper. We planned for a 3-5-2 V, defensive, counterattack, mixed down the flanks, against Abkhazia's attack oriented 4-2-1-3.

Rangers hit the pitch ready to roll and MC Dullah immediately went on the attack. His third shot on goal sliced past the keeper and 7 minutes in we were up 1-nil. We were totally dominating possession - so much so that I had to double check the legality of their formation - but the shots were just missing the mark. Then 27' in, the approriately named Bastida took out Edri with a flagrant foul. Captain Thanh Long had to settle the players down when the referee only gave Bastida a yellow. After the free kick was tipped just wide, Thanh Long sent a perfect cross to Aceituno who headed it into the back of the net. We sent George in at AMR and slid Seo over to AMC to adjust for the loss of Edri. At 42' another corner and Thanh Long set Dullah up for a rocketing shot to make it 3-0 going into the half.

Dullah, who was having a phenomenal match, was carded at 61' and then George finally got comfortable and put on a dribbling exhibition before finessing in a solo shot at 64'. With a 4-0 (7-1) lead, and the players tiring, we used our last two subs with 15 minutes to go. MC Ohara replaced AMC Seo, strengthening the midfield, and Saloman went in for Zelazhko on the left. We slid both wingers back to midfield as well. Then, disaster, as Snorreson came down on Saloman's ankle and he was stretchered off - but we had no subs remaining! We slid Ohara out to ML and hoped for the best. Berezin curved a pretty shot past the wall on the free kick to make it 5-0. Abkhazia made a few halfhearted attempts on goal, but the match ended with no further highlights and Rangers will advance to the quarter finals.

We were expecting a trip to Rome to face FC Luca, one of the strongest teams in the group stage, but they dropped their second leg 2-3 to Hannover's FC Vahrenheide who will advance on away goals.

So, we'll take a break before this evening's training session, the doctors will examine the injured players, and the psychologists will try and figure out what's wrong with my keepers. Then we'll work on a plan for our trip to Germany and matches against the #2 and #3 teams in league.

Julio Quatro Champions League Quarter-Final Draw

Julio Quatro have been drawn against OnE PiECE in the Quarter-Finals of the Champions League, OnE PiECE are currently on good form having won its last 5 games in the league and are 2nd in Level 14 and the beat mumuny 4-2 on aggregrate, with a fine 3-0 home win in the first leg, so it won't be a push over for Julio Quatro but once again we go into the tie as strong favourites, the first leg is at Islington Park on Thursday, before the return leg at OnE PiECE stadium on Saturday, Julio Quatro average 94.1 and OnE PiECE average 80.4, they like to play in a attacking 3-4-3 formation.

Tomorrow is big day for Julio Quatro

Julio Quatro host Alloa FC at Islington Park in the second leg of the cup quarter-final which they have a commanding 4-0 lead from the first leg, The local police will be out in force across North London, to ensure theres no crowd trouble for the second leg of this London derby, Many expect the game to pass without any harm since the tie was settled in the first leg.

Then after our derby game against Alloa FC, Sees us jump onto the jet plane all the way down to Instanbul to face 2nd place and on good-form in the league... FENERBAHÇE, We go into this league game with a solid 7 point advantage, the home team will be looking to try and win this game to give them any hope of pipping us to the title, a draw would probably be a good result for Julio Quatro to stay well clear of their last standing rivals and a win for Julio Quatro would surely wrap the title up and move us 10 points clear, also Julio Quatro would want to try and remain unbeaten this season.

Well.. Early 9am game tomorrow.. Chance to go 11 points clear if I win. The 2nd place guy keeps winning and putting on the pressure and we go head to head on Friday, win that and I've pretty much won the league.

Petersen on 54 goals and 35 assists for the season in 29 appearances.. I think he can get 80 goals this season, would be some achievement for a player who isn't even a striker

I will qualify for the Semi-Final, and the Semi-Final will be very tense and I face Level 16 friend club, the same club I beat last season to reach the final, and if I reach final, that could also be a repeat of Last seasons final, so it would be 3 big matches for my club, equally as big as last season, the reason why its just as big because they will be looking for payback, I'm looking forward to the games.
