AS Roma plays the same formation for every game, never changed it once.
3DCs 4-1-2
My normal counter for this leaves his ML the only player where my players do not have better quality the difference is significant, my player is 37 his 43. 3-3-2-1-1 attacking through the centre would be my counter.
Which doesn't look to bad the difference is more apparent in the roles they will play his AML/ML has attack 42.6 while my DMR/MR has 32.6 defensive
My three DC's are all 1-4 skills higher than his strikers.
I could use a asymmetric 3-2-2-2-1 which would mean 2DC's and push the other DC/DR to DR, move the DMC over one square so he is in between the AMC and the line of attack the AML/ML would take which also the DR with red arrow should pick up.
The advantage of the Asymmetric it gives me the ability to attack down both flanks were he has no cover at all with the exception of his MR/ML and gives me two AM's and a striker against his three DC's, my AM's have over 60 goals between them.
So do I go normal and risk the ML skinning my DMR or go for him.
Over to you for opinions.
Sounds as if you've thought it through .. so go with it. Do you need the second AM* in this case though? Can you make it a 3-2-3-1-1 with a versatile player so you can shift back to 3-3-2-1-1- without subbing?
EDIT: Ah, I'm slow!
Congratulations Accy!
