    this i dont understand

    why are so many people, playing with a formation
    that was 2 ST, 5 MID, and only 3 DF???

    And why does it seem to be so succesfull?

    Because if you have very good players you don't need more then 3 defenders.

    Also there is no point to play with 3 strikers, (IMO) and more midfielders because they go in attack and defence too.
