Why?
The second player must have a greater capacity to improve. He can become a better player than the first one. Also maybe there are hidden player characteristics. Like you've got to pick a captain for your team, and a 2nd place, 3rd place, etc. But there is almost no information available, in my mind, that can help you do that.

So.. when players have the same quality, position, age and one is more expensive, its means that player improves faster than the other one??

It's all based on the current quality, and the future potential ability of the player.
Underdogs FC
Season 1: Cup Runner Up
Season 3: League Runner Up
The second one probably will gain 3 skill point per day and the other one only one. So the first can be more time in your Team without loosing quality. You need to gain about 2.6 SP/day just to keep the same star next year.
that first player will be improving like a 28 year old player.
