yes, you have 7 days at the start of the season to sign players out of contract. I wait until the first day of the season to sign the players OOC as they are up to 15% less in cost to renew the contracts. Just make sure you sign them before the first game or the NGE will sub in players over the age of 33 or possibly default the game - not sure which would happen as I dont have any experience letting it happen and of course, Nordeus is ****ty at providing information about their own game...
