If you aim for a normal team best time to buy for low prices is at end season. Try to get players (young if possible) close to 6*, and next season they'll be 5* anyways, supposing you can use them as main 11. It avoids many bid wars as at season's end few people buy.

thanks for reply, my level is one of the highest on server, 5* players in transfer market i have only in 1st and 2nd day of new season, next days only 3* and 4* (but my opponents have this same transfer market )

my transfer market:
week 1 is for token buyer teams
week 2 and 3 is for normal teams (i bought players 4* - quality 52/53, on end of season i have 5* - quality 57/58, i using few green pack for power training)
week 4 is for weak teams

in week 3 and 4 can buy 1 player for 1 token (this works in 80% of cases)
