Do you actually buy tokens? A followup

Following up on C's comment on another thread, my question is
How much have you spent on tokens this season,compared to last or the previous seasons and has it been worthwhile?

I have not bought tokens for about 3-4 seasons, usually farm!

edit; not brought many players over the last 3 season and won`t need to next season except a gk so will be saving even more tokens to add to what i have already

I don't buy them, I win them. Where I'm from, you can win tons of them by doing free things.

I've bought some tokens each season that I've been here (some more than others). However, this season I didn't need too, because I tanked last time, and so my players were all of good quality to start with. I've just won the league and it's been the easiest of all my previous titles (admittedly, I've only got 4 previous titles).

bought 2 tokens 2 seasons ago, in this season bought 37 tokens becouse I had free money on paypal, but in first 5-7 day every new season buy of players is only for real token buyer, auctions ends in 40-70 rounds KO, after 7 days can buy any player (without SA), now i have 14 tokens

for me not worthwhile buy of tokens

If you aim for a normal team best time to buy for low prices is at end season. Try to get players (young if possible) close to 6*, and next season they'll be 5* anyways, supposing you can use them as main 11. It avoids many bid wars as at season's end few people buy.
