I was unable to contribute on the thread earlier, as I was at w**k.
I'd already wrapped up the league title with a couple of games to spare, so was very pleased with that. I was nervous about the CL final though. Having made it to the final last season, at the 6th attempt at trying, and then losing, I understandably had a certain amount of trepidation about it.
I shouldn't have worried, took an early lead through my top scorer in the league, then snatched a second just after half time. It was end to end stuff, and my opponents notched one back on 87 minutes. Would they get an equaliser? Thankfully for me, no.
My players can party after the formalities of the final match of the season, I can party now though.
Good luck to all those managers that still have finals to play, and commiserations to though that were unfortunate to be on the losing side this season.
