Today's two matches brought mixed fortunes. Actually, I'd rather it had happened the other way round.

METELOS 0-2 LONDON CITY

Our trip to Turkey produced 3 welcome points, despite the fact we are trying to tank the season. A first half headed goal for David Allen, from a Jacob Wilkinson free kick, was added too by a fine individual effort from Dean Goody with ten minutes left on the clock. Goody was given man of the match for his good all round performance. Despite the fact we are tanking, we don't want the humiliation of finishing in the bottom two.

ANDREW FC 2-0 LONDON CITY

We travelled the short distance to Wales tonight, for the 1st Leg of our CL match, against one of our friends. The match was settled in the first half, when our hosts scored twice within ten minutes just before the break. We made a couple of substitutions for the second period, but couldn't find the net to get an important away goal. The return looks like an uphill battle.

League Table At Halfway

As expected we thought that les guerriers would be our major contenders for the title and they indeed they are, We lost against les guerriers and had another draw to allow them a 5 points at one stage, but they have also had a few results that went against them for us to hold the lead on GD. KARAKARTAL and Dersimspor are now distant outsiders but it looks to be a 2 horse race here.
