i remember played one game in last season 4-1-4-1 vs 4-3N-3 and i won (both teams +/- same level), but when i played 4-5-1 V-Style few seasons ago i always lost, 4-1-4-1 is similar to 4-5-1 V-Style...

my 4-1-4-1: red for ML/MR, blue for DC, attack both flanks, normal mentality, mixed passing, own half, zonal marking, no counter, no offside

I will always go with 4-4-2 ND but I feel it isn't working then will switch to 4-1-4-1

4-4-2 ND: Attacking mentality, through the middle, own half, short passing, zonal.
Red arrows on ST and AMC.

4-1-4-1: Attacking mentality, mixed focus, own half, mixed passing, normal tackling, zonal marking.
    Red arrows on ML/MR.

    I use 4-1-4-1 attacking - down the flanks - mixed/short passing

    RAMLA AC 4-0 LONDON CITY

Almost never bothered with a match report of this humiliaton against the team below us in the league. The only thing that can be said, is that the game ended 4-4 (4 goals for them, and 4 cards for us). A brace by Patsiatzis gave the home side a comfortable lead at the break. By then, Dean Goody had recived 2 yellows and consequently, a red, and we were down to 10 men. Jones got two more after the interval to complete a thoroughly miserable day for us. Substitute Ronan Kelly collected our other yellow card.

GOAL STATS: Patsiatzis 15, Patziatzis 30, Jones 48, Jones 85

Royal Rumble Cup Quarter-Final, 1st Leg

    July Fourth 1-0 fc sulo

    July Fourth 143.7 3N-1-4-2 then 70 minutes - fc sulo 142.4 4-3N-1-2

A very big game here seeing both teams line up with every player being at least 7* at our level and all 22 players having SA's, It was important for us to get a good result and we were put under pressure for the first half hour when fc sulo looked the most likely to get a breakthrough, but we defended well and limited them only to a couple of shots on target, July Fourth did find a way against the run of play when Papaleo found a way forward and was able to poke it past the keeper to give us the lead just after half an hour, We had a couple of more chances before the break with Pietropaolo but nothing come of it. fc sulo were quite content with their team selection and they played a good game as we strived to battle on in this first leg, We decided at 70 minutes that we were going to throw our wingers to AML/AMR and shortly afterwards their GK was injured, You know what that means... no more goals and Petersen did have a chance late on to defy the GK injury bug but put it wide.

    Goals: Papaleo (31) MOTM: Papaleo.

Team Talk: I'd say this was a good result for us in the context of the tie, we have a 1-0 lead in a game we didn't play too brilliantly and we can go and attack the 2nd leg in search of an away goal to finish this one off.

    Thnx FCB and Chester.

First I am gonna try out 4-3-2-1 against a much lower quality 4-3-3. With one sub I can go to 4-1-4-1.

We had an interesting day and for the first time this season one of my teams lost - unfortunately it was the flagship-team..

    FC Dreamhunter

In the cup-quarterfinal the squad met AS ROMA which was filled with 7*-players. Overall the quality of our opponents was 5 points higher than ours. So under those circumstances just losing 1-2 was not too bad. Of course it hurt that the deciding goal was scored in the 90th minute after a corner. We will see what we can do in the second leg - maybe we will be able to surprise them, but I think that the quarterfinals will be all we can get this season.

We are dominating the league with a 14-0-0 record and lead by 11 points already, also reaching the next round in the CL will be easy after we won the first game 6-0.

    FC Sakura
Sakura has a 13-1-1 record and is also leading - the one draw was the fault of the manager. Simply forgot to change the players after a hard training - and I was not present during the match. In the CL Sakura won the first game 8-0, so tonight will be very relaxed and some substitutes will play.

    Berkshire Utd.
Last night's cup match was very interesting and we got away with a 2-2 draw. Again the equalizer was scored by our opponents just minutes from the end, but we play the second game at home and are positive to reach the next round.

The only concern is the fact that this team suffers tremendously because of injuries. Right now 5 players injured. Yesterday my important AML Lastra broke his leg and is out for the rest of the season. As I don't buy Tokens with this team we really have a problem :-(
The league seems to be an easy win with 14-0-0 so far, also the CL is easy so far.

Doing well, started to PT my 21 yo Striker, Syn Gates (everyone who knows him, loves him) and today he will already reach his next star! (started at Q50, 6*, now 54). Else, another match for CL, that we have to and will win, league, already ours!
