URGENT help please

Hey guys,
I've got a full squad of 22. I've just placed a bid on another player without realising my team is full. I don't want to sack any of my players yet, I'm trying to sell 2 of them.
Can I take this 23rd person who I've already bid on, or do I just have to sack someone anyway?

If you win, you have 7 days to sign contract, or he will leave the team. So you have plenty of time, the worst is that you can train him, so in the meanwhile he will not evolve or play games.
