This is why the stats page is totally ridiculous. To have 22 total shots, and then to see that of the 22, 24 were on target.

and of the 24 supposed shots on target, only one save, but 11 goals.
Maybe the two extra shots were a hairdryer and a boot in the dressing room!
Seeing that such nonsense is possible, I wouldn't be surprised if the displayed possession in most games has actually nothing to do with the real thing.
In fact, I'm pretty sure in many cases, it's just a very, very rough estimate, pretty much useless for any sort of analysis.

Look, we can all guess at what the devs do with this game. We know computer programming is NOT their day job, and English is not their first language.
That being said, this is simple math. You cant have more shots on target than you have actual shots. Where is the quality control? Every computer/IT company worth their weight has some form of quality control. If its not simple mathematical bugs in the output of the game, its translation bugaboos on their website and just plain bad programming altogether, considering the bugs and current issues with the game.
I cant stress it enough that the whole lot of them should be fired, but again, I remind myself that they are only in this for the $$$$$.
