This is RIDICULOUS

I think that my team must have some BUG or it's just NORDEUS TROLLING me here...but this is bizarre.

The problem is that something about 80% of CORNER KICKS against my team results in goals for my opponent.
i corner kick is like a PENALTY. they always score.

No big deal if i didn't have 3 DC wich are 6* QUALITY , one of then is an "AERIAL DEFENDER SPECIALIST"

even 3* teams keep scoring by corner kicks against me all the time.

The funny thing is that i can score only something around 10% from my corner kicks even when i have a 7* corner specialist ( young scout ).

I'm not here to say..."ooooh i'm losing for crap teams and blah blah".
The truth is that i'm on good shape in all 3 competitions so far. I have beated some stronger teams than mine already. My server is a new server and there are a lot of token buyers. Probably because I'm on top level of my server and there are no good players on auctions.
But even the crap teams keep trolling me on this corner kick stuff......

when a read "OPPONENT HAS A CORNER KICK" , it's GONE, he will score for SURE.

if this game is based on REAL FOOTBALL, this is ridiculous.

Post a screenshot, of the end of match statistics.

As I think you're likely just noticing the corners, or noticing some of them, but they definitely won't be consistently scoring 80% of corners. Even in games where I win by 5+ goals my opponents usually have 3-5 corners. In close games they'll often have more.

Assuming that's consistent in your games as well, an 80% strike rate on corners would mean your opponents would probably be scoring 3+ goals every game. Which would be very difficult to compete with, and I doubt you'd be winning many/any games.

So it's probably just a case of you misreading the statistics (Or the game only showing the comments when your team is about to have a goal scored against them).

This season i am feeling the same thing, but mostly in double corners.
But since i am scoring a few, i am not too worry.

i'm talking about the corners that appears on the comentary during the game.
the corners from the game stats, are much more than that. but i think that those stats are just garbage, i don't even consider that.

anyway, maybe is not 80%, i may be pissed of. but is at least 50%. And i never score from CK.
It's still so unrealistic compared to football.

this was today on CL game. the guy scored twice from corners.
The stats say that he had 3 corners during the game. But the in game comments showed only 2, which resulted in goals

Corners are overpowered in this game.. I've been through this before many times and I'll say it again.

yeah DV8r, i always thought that too...but until the begining of this season, they were less letal (at least in my games) even if they were already overpowered.
and what is weird in this season is that my coners are still the same, so i score much less than people are scoring against me... i'm telling u guys: a corner against me is like a PENALTY

They've always been like that, you were just never aware of it. I can assure you the corner feature in this game is very overpowered and predictable. A "double corner", where a corner is headed out for another corner usually results in a goal.

all i have to say is what ive read here before from some users:
the game engine is just RANDOM and less complex than we imagine.

for example:

i just watched and supported a friend's game..
he was playing against a guy wich has as overall 1* less than him.

My friend is watching the game, and he has 3 friends supporting him.
the other guy is not watching the game and has no friends.

so my friend get 14% possession bonus.

until the 75th minute of the game my friend was winning 3x1

so, a MC from the other guy is SENT OFF!!!

than, i think: okay, now the game gets easier than ever for my friend. right?

NO!!

his opponent scores twice at the end of the match and almost scores the third goal on last minute..
ed of story: game drawed..3x3

my friend got TROLLED, as we all do...haahahahahah

yup, there is no rhyme or reason for many of the things that happen, hence the major troll issue.

Won today, both games with my other account, first game 3-0 CL game (didnt watch and needed to win by 2 goals to advance to knockout, played 4-1-4-1 vs 4-1-4-1) and 20 mins later won 1-0 when I wanted to lose since I am tanking that account this season. Didnt change the lineup or anything as I was not logged in, so I played and won with players starting at 70% condition in a 4-1-4-1(me) vs 4-4-2 battle. so it goes to show you that condition means jack ****. that means that its possible that other things like morale and TACTICS could mean nothing as well.

cracicot, if you want to "tank" i would say u should put in some ilegal formation to lose possession and lose games. but does it really make sense?
i just played my league game.
i was winning 2-0 until 60th minute.
the other guy gets crazy and changes his formation for an ilegal formation (no wingers) . and as soon as he did that, i've set tactics to "attack flanks" , wich is pretty much obvious!
then, that "possession bar" wich indicates who is attacking more during the game is almost all mine.
gess what?
30 min of this possession "massacre" and the guy scores!
this is AMAZING!!!
i didnt score...even with all this possession and doing the flank attack

at least i won 2-1
but it tastes like trash...
one more time.... its just random and random stuff....

I am fully aware of how to tank, thanks. i neeeded to win the first game and couldnt change to the illegal formation after the first game in time hence the troll win for me.

The more stories I hear like yours, and the more troll results that happen to me, the more I realize that not much is as it seems in this game.

Corner kicks are so unrealistic in this game. I don't get trolled with corners, I actually score an avg of around 1 goal per match with corner kicks, but FIFA stats show that in professional leagues only 1 in 50 corners leads directly to a goal. In T11 almost every double corner is a certain goal and this is ridiculous, but this is the way the game works and there's nothing that we can do about it...

i think there is a problem in my team one of my player got a yellow card in the first league match this season and after that he did not get any card
11 matches have been played till now and still that yellow card is not cancelled the problem is if he get a yellow card inthe next match he will be suspended its really not fair :mad:

Teams score from corners more than they do from Penalties. That is too unrealistic. But I don't have those many corners scored against me as my Aerial Defender DC does a good job. I seem to be worried by Counter attack against me. 2 matches ago, my opponent had some 9 counter attacks and he scored from 3 of them, thus wining 3-1!!! And also, I believe once a player is sent off, the ten man team starts performing better and scoring God knows how!!!!?????

Fully agree. I can understand el-loco. Do you know what I did? I am not saying this is right, but I started to play as often as can no matter 3 or 4 players in the last line ALL aerial defenders. I think more advantages then disadvantages. I won everything last season.

You guys all understand that this isn't FM2014 right? Thus you can't expect the success rates of corners in real football to be similar to the success rate in Top11 (Although even FM2014 likely has more corners scored than the 1/50 someone quoted earlier in this thread).

Likewise, the comments are essentially the "highlights" of the game. Thus corners which are going to score will always be shown, and many of the attempts that don't succeed will not be shown. Likewise double corners, or triple corners, which eventually end up scoring, will probably all be shown as they're part of the highlight, since they lead into the scoring movement.

every time a corner, I am very worried, fear of conceding, :D

yeah, i think me, cracicot, dino and everyone understand that this isnt FM14. But have you see my prints?
the stats show the guy had 3 corners.
2 of them appeared in the commentary, and BOTH resulted in GOALS SCORED! that's 66.6%, right??
now, many would say "that happens"
YES! that happens!
But not as usual at it happens in Top11.
and this is happening a lot in my games this season.
Seriously, we all love this game, otherwise we will not spend our time playing it or even writing in this forum.
But there are some stuff in this game that they could IMPROVE, and i think that's why this forum is made for.
Same thing about DOUBLE CORNERS. it's a BUG. They need to work on it.

Auctions: Only 3* or 4*
Scout: NONE at the moment.
The lonely aerial defender i have is a 6* 54Q wich i bought from the scout list.
U got a nice team there m8 but sometimes it's good to have a DC or DMC DEFENSIVE WALL in your starting lineup as well, cause they can block some free kicks and long range shots. This guys always helped me a little bit.
if i could choose it would be 3 DCs ( 2 Aerial and 1 Defensive Wall)

I particularly love how 100% of opponent's double corners are scoring, then my double corner gets wide or skims the cross bar. Same goes for normal corners.

it is a corner of the football,sometimes when you're winning but at a certain angle you will be defeated by an element of surprise
