Player ratings

Hey!

I have one question, i see that some players usually get high ratings (7-8-9) and some get always low ratings (6-7), why is this? Is that the player itself is not really good? That i play a Formation where he cannot develop well or what? All my players are usually top form and playing in their positions. And the low rating players are the GK, 2 defences, 1 MC and 1 AMC...

First of all tell me the difference from Messi to other players, thx. It's like in real life, you get difference in talents, fitness, age and else. You can have a high rated player, but if he doesn't want to give 100%, he's not worth at all. Perhaps there are some other issues for him not to go all in like win bonus, etc.

then explain this.my goalkeeper saves everything,but he always gets the rating 5.his substitute always gets 7-8,even though he doesn`t catch a thing...

Does he keep clean sheets? I have a feeling it also includes interceptions from crosses and corners.

I want to join this question.
My issue is that my best player with rating 21 always has poor rating like 6 or 5.
I do not know what I do wrong, may be somebody could help me.
My player is MC with playmaker skills. I use 4-5-1 V formation. He is also strikes corners and free-kicks.

He played in 5 games scored 2 goals and made 4 assists. But average is below 6. What should I change?

Messi would just be a player with very high quality, this time it's not about skill but about form.

Indeed, agree. But he's also a player with 100% performance everytime! This is what I meant.

First I would check training sessions, time to refresh, did they gain condition normally or are they pushed by packs, what about moral issues, how often do they play. No knowing the game engine but it could be always possible that a player is not lucky of a substitution in 1st half except of injury.

Think about how your handle your team.

most of the times he does,previous season only 3 goals received,this season 2 goals so far(excluding the cup where i played against a lvl 21)
