    Profitable transfer strategy

    I have a question:-

next season I'll be up to level 4
That meens 4 star players will be 35-39

My current squad are around 28-32 average & at the next level I plan to clear out and upgrade pretty much the whole team (to enable me to compete at level 4)

Is it better to buy players at say 37 & sell them when they are 39
    OR
Buy them at 39 so they will become 5 star during the season & sell them at say 41?

because as I hope to promote next season I'll need a squad nearer to 45 than 40 to do well at level 5?

It seems so far that at each level having players in the 'high 4 star' region will usually do well in the league.

It would also be good to generate profit to help fund the next cohort of players at the next level up

I hope the question makes sense!

    Thanks Clive

I am level 5, i am 2nd the 1st is only 3 points ahead and we have 38 average, and are way far from evryone else.
At level 4 my average was 33 and i won the league without any problem.

Try to eliminate all the players above 3 stars or low 3 stars that will not be able to reach the next star during the season.
If you buy older player above 26, try to buy 5* 1 or 2 levels closed to the 6*.
Younger players you can buy them in lower 5*, but can also buy 3 or 4* fast trainers near the next star, to fill your bench.

    Hope i could help.

Its impossible to make a profit in this game because you lose Tokens every time you buy. If Nordeus offered a token gain when selling a player even if it was just one than you could make a profit (If only marginal)

As for your main question I personally only ever buy level 39's that have a special ability, although i am convinced that the special ability is rubbish. A special ability even though it can cost you 250 tokens (£20) to give a player a special ability doesn't increase a players transfer value, this to me is ludicrous and all but proves that the special ability is simply a way to take tokens from players without any reward.

Special abilities do improve abilities ingame. Defensive wall against free kicks, defensive header in corners, free kicks... etc.

I bought players at 39 this season ,but i added 3 scout players, throughout the season all of my 39 ers have turned 5 star,so far all playing well and increasing their value ,so your strategy does work.......

Just forget special abilities I ,ve found that players without them ,do just as well ,if not better,my MC has no ability ,However he,s scored 8 free kicks this season,so that proves it,If their scores are good enough ,they do well anyway.

if you change player every season. so keep 5-7 scrappy low value, sell all other and buy player from 29-31 years old at 38 or 39. they won't go futher than 39 and sell all at the end of season,
keep only some young player high speed training.

What is the quality of the MC in comparison to the rest of the players.

my strategy is buy young as close to scout as possible as they are fast trainer`s and save skill point`s for new season as they will still be 5* for a good 3/4 seasons and i have a full squad of youngster and have not had to go in transfer market for last two season which means i`m saving tokens so when i do need to sell i have tokens and money to buy new player`s

I have young, 18 /19 yr olds who train fast, but rate 5 per game....

Please advise if these are worth keeping or selling ?
