when the league opened up i was 10th strongest (there were lots of previous token buyers). after i spent some skill points i became 8th. after buying 2 players i became 6th. i am now happily 3rd in the league with a very budget team of only 3 subs and a keeper. i did consider tanking early on, but yeah i think its just better to duke it out

You play for all the wrong reasons. Who (apart from you!) really cares what your trophy room looks like? To say you you are top of the league and the second you lose a match you switch to tanking is bonkers! but then again you are free to play as you wish. I am simply glad you are not in my league.
