    a question about bidding

I am the winner of initial round. In the second round, another guy bid at last second, then I am out. Is this a strange bidding system?

nope the pricipe of bidding is clear and you couldn't complaint about this

to qualify to next round you need to bid at current round and it finished only if there is only 1 or 0 bidder

the winner is one of these 2 case,
1.the only one who bid in a round
    2. no-one bid and you are the last bidder in last round

in your case, your opponent is the only one who bids in the knock out round 1

So you mean I have to bid one more time no matter my opponent bid or not?

You have to bid if someone else bids in the round.
It is safer to bid and the wait to see if the other party bids or not. Do not assume no one will bid and that you will win by being the leading bidder, from the previous round.

I understand the rule. But this is a weird rule. Never see any bidding systems like this.

Is it weird? I don't think it is too strange, especially since the bidders could have varied pings, it makes a certain sort of sense. But it does say whether you are qualified for the round, and if more that one has bid, you need to bid in the knock out round, otherwise you can get "sniped" as you experienced.
Expressed above is my own opinion. Your results may vary.

yeah i feel you. i hate the rules too. so i just break them
even if im the lead bidder the previous round, ill bid within the opening 1 second of the next round. I KNOW ITS A WASTE OF TOKENS and im hoping i scared him off. plus its also much better than losing to some cheeky bastard

also, you dont lose an arm and a leg in other bidding systems

The system should be designed like this. After initial round, any higher bid will extend the deadline for 1 min (or say reset the 1 min). This is simple and make much more sense!
