The higher level u go up, the less cash to buy players

Do u guys notice the higher level u go up, the much higher the salaries of players, but competition winnings remain the same? And ticket sales from stadiums are pathetic no matter how big your stadiums are.

This means there will come a time (level) where your club's static income is no longer able to keep pace with the players massive salaries

Ive never really worried about salaries or ticket sales because I always found the prize money was enough.

But this season is the first ive noticed my cash going down but I put that down to this being the first season I haven't been in the champions league and I have spent 617m on transfers against 436m I brought in on transfers.

No. Competition Prizes become more significant as with ticket sales at higher levels and they are able to pay players salaries.

How many daily friendlies do you need to cover costs?
I was under the impression, competition fees rose astronomically as you progressed. The same with players salaries.
What other income steams are available, other than free trf buy and sell?

Well, every time a player signs a contract, his salary goes up. If you buy FAs and your youth and re sign them right before their contract goes, you can keep the salaries down a little bit. You also need to look at their wage when you buy them (although as I said, it goes up every time they sign a contract.)
Expressed above is my own opinion. Your results may vary.

Then the other alt is to power train great players for resale? Does this make sense?

I wouldn't power train with the intent of selling, that costs greens and therefore seems too costly. Besides friendlies and regular competitions free agents are a good way to make $ but it takes patience and timing, you have to buy the higher value ones for not many tokens to get a profit from it.
