Any advice about this troll result ?

This is a starting level 2 team I just started this month , and I was wondering why i lost ?!
He was playing with 4-5-1 and I countered him with 3-5-2 to make a good score - according to http://forum.topeleven.com/formation...-what-use.html - then i was surprised with this result .
I was there and my possession was +3% .
Besides my team is 18 overall rating against 13 overall rating .

any good explanation ?

july forth win only 80% of his matches, it means that 1/5 matche counter don't works. if you lost 1-0 i don't see anything wrong.

my advice is kick ass next match, i had 1-1 yet with 70% possession only managed 4 shots on goal yet other team with 30% managed 11 shots on goals with them scoring 1st and i scored in 89th minute, so far this season these are the only point`s i`v dropped and not changed tactics and only have to change formation twice

There is no such things as counter formations. It's about buying the right players and utilising them correctly.

Dont call them counter formations then, call them formations that work better vs specific formations. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. based on this logic, there is a perfect "counter" for every formation. You just have to know what it is. Funny becuase I saw several results today where narrow diamond lost to 4-4-2 classic. Seems that it is not the perfect coutner for it anymore, but i still see that it works most of the time. I guess your coutner depends on your instructions.

I beat 4-4-2 regularly playing 4-5-1, or 4-1-3wide-1-1 up the middle. i think that it is one of the ones that works better vs 4-4-2 but not all the time. 3-1-4-2 was like that for me as well.

try with an actice manager same star(not quality) of the best 11. see if you can win more than 50%. 442 has a weak point at the center but not really see a tatic should counter it

I was trolled 1-0 today in the Champs League.

Just got to suck it up and see if I can overturn it on Tuesday. My team is vastly superior but I don't hold much hope at the moment.

If your team is superior against your opponent, you have a very good chance to overturn it. Lately, I was trolled 0-2 against a team which was 7Q lower than mine. I didn't watch that game and neither did my opponent. On the away game, I put all my best players in and secured 3 goals in 15 mins. By the time, my opponent started to support his team, everything has been settled. My team won 6-0 finally. Like you said, just suck the troll result and hope for the best in the next match. NGE troll me quite a number of times this season. I just swore at it once and then move on.
