I know NGE put you in similair star level like you, but I am not sure exactly how that works. Do they take your average star level (the one everyone see when they click on ongoing match with anyone)? I saw same guy braking when thanking that he brought their players one skill point from scout level, why?

The game engine computes the quality of your best 14 players in the team, not by the stars. For example, you have 5 players with quality of 15, other 5 players with quality of 25, and the remaining 4 with quality of 35, then your average team quality would be 24.3.Then you will likely to put into a league with teams of quality ranging from 20.x to 34.x. If your team quality is 25.x you may face team with quality level of up to 40.

Because I am manipulating the Cup in my sub-account ... so it's based on my experience from manipulating the team quality in my sub-account and simply having a 6-star team at the end of every season in my main account. For my main account, because of possessing a 6-star team at the end of every season and I do not sell off any player of my team, I usually face teams 2-5 levels above me in the Cup in the following season. So actually keep the quality of your best 14 players 5 stars and below, you will get better chance to win the Cup.

Thank you very much for explanation. I have two questions, does NGE calculate not rounded numbers when calculating players quality (stars)? 27, 32, or is 27 really 25 and 32 is 30? And if I will end up in those ranging like you said, 20.x to 34.x, is that also team quality calculated like mine? He can have 45* in his squad?

I think smthg wrong here. if 20~34 is in a same cup, the max team q is 34q. so how the 25q is facin to 40q,isn't it in the (20~34).

27 is 27, 32 is 32, they do not round it up or down. It depends on if other teams are manipulating the team quality as well. But it's not likely to have a 45 quality team if you keep your team quality below 25.

if you have a team of 25 medium quality (best 14 players), it is impossible to meet a quality team average 40. Meet a team of average quality 24/25/26 (best 14 players)
