What's the point of the cup??

Just seen the potential opponents in the cup & there are 13 level 14 teams in my level 11 draw!! WTF. that's another cup season gone already. Power to the guys that save their skill points until after the draw & win it that way. I might do that next season.

Last season I was level 14 and I beat level 16 and level 17 teams to win the trophy.

What is the point of the cup? Well... If you reach the top teams on your server, Then the Cup becomes a very valuable honour to win. The Cup will contain the best 128 teams on the server and I call it the "Shark Cup" and IF you can win the cup then your "Server Champion" for that season.

Any other Cup is simply the "RR Cup" which the name was founded from the format changes quite sometime ago. If you can win the "RR Cup" just think that you are the best team in that quality range.

There is certainly more value in the Cups now since the format change, since beforehand for most high level clubs the Cup was more or less a mickey mouse competition.

Actually, a level 1 or 2 weaker team can beat a superior team. But you need more than just luck, you also need "troll results".

what is it with player`s moaning about higher level teams in the cup ?? i`d me more worried if they had 15/20 quality better than me as it`s the quality of the teams not what level you are

Yes, most likely, unless there is ever any major changes to the game which doesn't seem anytime soon.
