    The picture would be helpful.

I like the formation, I always play variations of 3-6-1 because I believe it will help you dominate possession, and also 3 defenders are enough, I prefer DMs because they cover more than their defensive counterparts, covering the M row as well. I prefer 3-2-2-2-1, though. If you can decide which side you'd like to attack, play short passing for attacking through the centre, and mixed passing for the wings. If you continue to play mixed, then mixed passing is better.

The DMC should always have blue arrows. Red arrows on the wide mids if you attack down the wings, red on the other three and not on the wide mids if you attack down the middle.

Also, try to play either attacking or defending, depending on whether you are stronger or weaker. I also always prefer own half pressure. Hard tackling if you're facing an equal or stronger opponent, easy if you can get away with it because you'll get less bookings and can stock up on red packs. Always use zonal marking, but your formation is a bit vulnerable to an AML and AMR.

Counter attacks if you're playing a defensive game. I never use offside traps, but they say only use it if not facing any AMs, playing whole pitch pressure, and if your keeper can handle their attackers one-on-one.

Thx for the great reply Potemy.
Haven‘t used arrows at all yet... Do they have a big impact?

I think they do, but I never play without arrows. I never put a red arrow on an ST, nor a blue arrow on defenders and the GK, just my opinion, I think it will take them too far forward or back.

    Nice post Potemy,

but whats happend with your DMC with blue arrows if you play attacking ?

and regarding the Hard tackling it increases the chances for injuries doesn't it ?

I think your DMC will just stay back in the DMC position and shield the defence.

AFAIK hard tackling increases the chances for bookings, maybe injuries as well. However, it's a risk you'll have to take to get points against strong teams.
