ratings slump

I've been strolling along at the top of the league all season, but recently both my 1st and 2nd choice goalkeepers have had a form slump. Both have been rated mostly 5's with a few 6's thrown in for each players last 6 games. This came to a head tonight when i was playing the team 2nd in my league. A win would have put me 12 points clear with 4 games to go. I was 2-0 up and dominating at half time. They had 4 shots the 2nd half and won 4-2! My 6* keepers rating.. 3!! I've never seen below 5 before. Has He's on the transfer list now and if no sucker buys him he's getting the bullet!

Has anyone else seen such a ridiculously low rating, and any ideas why my keepers are throwing them in after being safe hands all season?

i too had a slump on the closing days of a season, it cost me my title. all i can say is hope your guys pull out of it and get back on track

I've seen only one 3 in 4 seasons.
1 AMC i bought, and sold right after the game )

Till date i have had only 3 keepers with decent ratings and who can actually save the ball from going into the nets.... And all of them have been 1 on 1 stoppers!!!! Others have been pathetic.... My worst keeper ever was Graikos. A high 5* 22 yo keeper i had 3 seasons ago. He had a form of 4-4-5-4-3 when i sold him!!!!! And he has been my only player to get a 3..... I wonder if anyone has ever seen 2 or 1???Or 0??

0 is when a player is injured early in the match. I think it's shock from the starting whistle.

I only have one keeper.
If he is injured I play a defender in goals, it doesn't seem to make much difference, i've won most of the games where i've done that.
I'm not convinced the ratings for a keeper mean anything.

agreed with gogo. back then with my ultra budget team (only 3 subs) my keeper got injured, so i replaced him with a CM, and he saved more shots (4 to none, conceded 2) than my 1st and only keeper. still lost the game though but i was happy and proud that CM believed in himself
someone said that even an injured keeper can majestically save games. hell even an injured striker can score, why cant keepers (i think keepers have the hardest role) do that too?
