Seriously? Need opinions on this kind of result

Guys, i need your opinions on this. In my cup match, i faced against a team with lower average quality than mine. But yet, here's the result.

All my players are 80% condition and above, full or near full morale. Attacking mentality, short passing, offside trap, full pitch pressing. I got full 15% possession in my spectator tab and still, I lost?

Average Quality Isn't a SCALE , Its a SCAM .
From what I see his players seems to be better than yours .
Even if your players are better u lost 1-0 only with semi-level player . It could easily happen !

XD i dunno, i just happen to use short passing for my previous cup match and got a good score. Thought it would meant more aggressive play style. Im still pretty much a noob in tactics like that.

Why short passing? - Why are you pressing the whole pitch? this will bring on extra fatigue. Press in your own half and mix your passing. I think the more you mess with tactics the worse you seem to do.

Some use short passing to increase poss. even if they dont have any dmc's or amc's .
but any way he only got 5 out of 20 shots , his opp. got 7 out of 13 !

So it was my bad then. Still there's the 2nd leg, so i guess I still got a fighting chance. Just need to set my tactics right.

I doubt. You did okay. A good team presses full pitch, you don't have Bayern pressing their own field playing against Werder Bremen.

i drew against a team 10 quality lower than me next day i stuffed team 4-0 that had similar quality ?? go figure

Woudln't changing your central MC for a DMC reduce opponents shots? (on and off target) That's what I would do probably and over both flanks, pu arrows on wingers if need be.
