3-0 walkover

My league is extremely tight just now. I'm 3rd on goal difference. All 3 teams played 14, won 13, lost one. I was looking forward to playing the bottom team today whom the other teams thrashed 12-0 and 10-0, but for the second time this season they failed to field a team and i was awarded a 3-0 win. I'm now 8 and 7 goals behind my challengers. This sucks! Teams failing to field a team should be kicked out the league and their results rendered null and void in my opinion! Rant over!

In most leagues throughout the world, if a team fails to field a minimum of players for 3 games, all their past and future matches are voided with 0-3. And the minimum is 7 players, you don't have to field 11.

But here this is a bit of a Mickey mouse game in most aspects, it doesn't follow reality.
