I barely get a Draw with 80% possession?

Why I am loosing positions in my league like this. It seems the game engine is working against my team (in the right side) last couple of weeks. Any comments?

Your opponent played a illegal formation by the looks of it and you probably didn't pick a tactic or formation that goes against it too well, hes probably put all this players in the middle of the pitch and put 3 strikers on and played with either 2 defenders or a missing wing player, basically craming all the players into a key area of the pitch and blocking you out from scoring and taking full advantage, If you post the teams starting 11 and teams formations I maybe able to give you a better idea and understanding whats going on. It is possible for illegal formations to draw or even win but they normally lose matches.

You had 80% possession due to your opponent playing an illegal formation, it does not mean you dominated him. Like July said, maybe you would care to post screenshots of the formations played by both teams.

These are the formations used. Thanks guys. Since 28th minute he was playing with injured player.

His formation is illegal because he has 3 players on the left side, that's not so bad. How do the teams compare then? 80% possession means you will have lots of chances, and that's about all. If his players are much better than yours, you will still find it difficult to score, it can even be difficult if he's slightly weaker than you.

My last four games i`v lost to worse teams than me and i`ve dominated 60/40 61/39 57/43 70/30 ?? Worse run of results since i`v started and i`m level 5 now

edit; make that 5 in row this time i was 61/39 poss, just can`t hit a barn door and my rating was 5 higher than them

Quality of both teams are roughly around even so thats not a issue since both sides would of had a good chance of a draw had his formation would of been legal and possibly your opponent only having 20% possession quite easily could of played counter attacks, If you had a good look at his setup before the game, it probably would of been worth attacking his right-hand side where he only had 1 player present, since his left and central looked packed with players, attacking the right side only would of been exploiting his weakness and you would of probably got more success scoring goals. Whenever I play teams that use an illegal formation, I tend to go all out attack since I know I am going to have 80% possession and I want to make the extra possession count.
