One question about CUP

I know computer counts best 14 players, their avarege quality for Cup in next season. But this is what bothers me. If I have only 14 players NGE will calculate those obviously, but what if one of them will retire at the end of the season and he is minimum quality which you can buy on that level, let say 35 is minimum quality? Computer will replace him with player with 40 quality at the first day of next season, BUT will NGE calculate that 35 or 40 quality player for Cup?

i`v never got that far with my player`s retiring but at a guess i say they`l replace with the same quality as the player retiring ?

No, they replace him with minimum quality for current level.....if 35 is minimum for level 6, in level 7 they will replace him with 40, thats for sure.

Not draw 14 best players in my squad (best quality, most stars). From their quality it depends how strong will your opponents be
