Considering joining : Can you develop young players

Hi folks,

I have not yet joined the game but am considering doing so. My question is this: Does the game include the ability to develop young players for your team? Do you have a youth academy for instance? If anybody can give me a brief synopsis of how a youth academy/ youth development works then I would be incredibly greatful.

I ask this because I currently play a basketball on-line game called Buzzerbeater and I love to develop young players in that game. You get 18 year old players and choose how to train them to turn them into starts.

Anyway, if you have the time to answer my questions it would be greatly appreciated.

Yes you can, you can build the youth academy structure in your stadium grounds, and this produces 2 new, young players at regular intervals, depending on it's level.

One of these players you can sign for free, and the other, who is usually better than the other, will cost up to 24 tokens, depending on his quality/training speed.

You can also buy young, 18 year old players from the transfer market and train them up yourself.

Young players, ie. aged 18-21 are the fastest trainers, so they'll develop more quickly than older players.

You can choose to increase their quality, and also add special abilities, such as 'free kick' specialist. You can also train a player to play in multiple positions.

You build your facilities and there is a facility for producing youth. One will be free to sign, and a ok quality, the other will cost Tokens. (up to 24). You can also buy young players on the Transfer Market, sometimes for less Tokens than the generated youth. Then you can power train them (using green packs to booster their condition, and red boosters to heal them if they break) Or you can train them using up the condition they gain, takes longer but it way cheaper in terms of boosters. You can assign the skill points gained for either Defense, Attack or Physical/Mental skills, for new Roles (they can have up to three positions) and also there is Special Abilities which are particular situational skills.

Tokens are the 'premium currency' of Top Eleven, and yes you can buy them with real cash.

You can also earn them quite easily using other methods that are free.

You can sign a sponsorship with a club sponsor that provides you with a token on a daily basis, and a bonus token for logging in on consecutive days, to a total of 35 a season.

You can also watch videos on the website for free tokens, and complete surveys etc, this is called 'Token Farming'

If you have an android or iPhone, you can earn tokens by using 'Tapjoy', which asks you to download free apps.

Yes the game includes the ability to develop young players...There is a youth academy from which you will get 2, 18 year players depending on the level of your youth academy...
But do not expect much from the youth academy...It is just an add on and you will not get benefited from it at all...
The 2 players that you will get - one will be an 2 star and you can sign him without any token but since he is only 2 star he will be totally a waste...
The other players will be an 4 star but you will have to play 18 to 24 tokens for him...Which makes him useless too...Because spending this much of token for a 4 star player is just madness...

If they keep new transfer market buying a youth player from your acadamy will not bee that kind of madness any more.. .

No I will never buy a 4 star player for this much of token...The 35 tokens that I earn if I spend 22 on academy player then I will be left with only 13 tokens for buying other players and that's just not enough...

The last few Seasons I made a point of buying my "homegrown" talent, and I have been quite happy.

Here's a couple of my youths:

I think he was 18T, and low 4 star when I got him

24T and worth every precious golden coin:

If there are no offers/videos for Tokens in your area, it can be cheaper to buy from the Transfer Market, but if there are bidding wars it might be easier to acquire your youth, you could consider saving up for a good youth when he gets disgorged from you facility.
