Rest +5% condition falls during match

My question is: If your +5% condition falls during the match does it happen automatically then or after the match, noting you cannot make changes 3 minutes out from a match.

In the first seasons i played, it seemed that i happened after the game, but in the last games that happened it seemed that happened during the game, so i am not sure anymore.

people say when your timer ends during a game you get your rest boost then. its hard to tell because of the halftime boost and stuff
