Is your scout list really refreshed? Mine has been the same as the first day of every single season. On the day it is said to have new scout list, only one new player is added/replaced. So I guess that's still in the scope of the definition of "NEW." :DQuote:

David FC Cup & Academy update.
Cup preliminary Leg 1 away. Promising result against Manager 2 Levels higher. Down 3-1 at 68 minutes, when my lowest Q player 3* 191cm defender scores his first goal for David FC from a header, then scores levelled 4 minutes from time with a fine strikers effort (I resisted chasing the result this time). So 3-3 with home leg to come.
Also got 2 academy players. Will sell the 2* LB, but am very happy with a 4*, 2SP from 5*, 18 y.o. Either footed striker.
Even happier when you farm 24 tokens to buy 4*, 18 y.o. Either footed striker, since last post, then he trains 52/100/162, already highest value player, with value/wage of 77 with 3 full years left on contract.
David FC value/wage record so far is 230, but I predict this striker will break the record.
4-1 in cup in the first round, more then sure we are in the next round!
a bit gutted having to turn down 12 tokens for my 25 yr old striker the way NTM is as he`s my reserve in case injury to one of other two, guess this has also backfired on Nordeus as they lose out on tokens too

Already gained 1 SP in 2 hours of Power T. All other PT has now stopped.
Wage/value now 80.
I will keep PT'ing him until Scout level before full introduction to 1st 11.
I'm ready with my primary account on lvl 5. I'm continuing my strategy of getting high value players while keeping avg Q down. It worked well for me last season with a league/cup double. As a result, most players train fast, and my team is now stronger then at start of last season. My 3 extremely expensive 4* Nordgens I signed last season have been awesome. At the start of this season they'r all high lvl 4* again, and of the highest Q in the team.
The only positions that needed upgrading in my starting 11 were my wings, ML/AML and MR/AMR. I knew the money wouldn't be enough to get 2 high lvl 4* Nordgens or similar, and widen my team, so I bought 1 fast trainer and 1 high Q player with great goalscoring stats as my biggest signings.

Now I needed to widen my team. For that I look for the most expensive 3* players I can find, if their wage/vlaue ratio is over 40, as then they'll train fast.

I was mostly looking for subs, or converting T into cash, but espeically the GK is an exceptional trainer and will surpass my 1st GK in quality in a matter of 1-2 weeks. I wasn't looking for a GK tbh, as my current one, despite his mediocre quality is making saves and gets MOM ratings now and then. Anyway, I'm extremely pleased with the team for the upcoming season. It looks as ready as ever to cause more then a few upsets again this season.

It's a theory that where Value/Wage = Faster the trainer and something like value/wage = 40 is a very fast trainer, However once past L15, this becomes useless since players values cap out at just over 105M.Quote:

well after losing 2-0 at home in first leg of cup ( don`t know how with 60% possession) i decided to go for it in 2nd leg with 4-2-1-3 and in the 12th min i score with my reserve striker (who i have a 11 token bid on) so that`s half job done and it stays that way till half tine, second half i`m leaving them long range shot`s will i`m skimming bar and then in the 63rd minute i get a pen and my new striker from near end of last season runs up and misses GRRRRR that would have leveled 2-2 on agg BUT then out of the blue 64th one minute after pen miss he makes amends and now 2-2 on agg, so extra looms and in that time i`m the one with the chances and still keep skimming bar as they are fouling left right an center, how they got 1 yellow is beyond me, so looks the game is going into extra time when in the 119th min their`s a goal ?
My lvl 3 team Ajax is also ready for the season. I've spent all I had, in a market that was much more lively and fierce then in my primary account, where I could snatch everything I wanted for 1-3T. As they are only in lvl 3, and I'm still using the most talented players of my (overpowered) players from season 1, I don't expect to need much. I bought a ML with phenomenal match stats, A young MC as sub, he might get his chance once he's trained up a bit. The biggest signing was a 20 year old 5* St who trains pretty fast, so he'll be in my team for a few seasons. I made a mistake by bidding for a dmc just before I was going into minus, nothing fancy or expensive thank god, but I forgot to make room in the squad. Actually I forgot I couldn't sack when I was already in minus. I think I lost the cash and the player now. :P

We've just won our Cup prelims with my primary lvl 5 account, asml. Quite funny actually the cup this season. My lvl 5 team is in the same cup lvl then my lvl 3 team, cup lvl 6, while being 4 times as expensive. My lvl 4 account, is playing in cup lvl 8. :P

I also received my youngters today a 2* ST and a 4*GK 56Q for 21T but i am not impressed with his market value only 16M were should be above 21M to be a fast trainer.

Kentucky FC and co. news:
Kentucky FC survived the first round despite experimenting with "total football" in the first leg at home. :)
Troll FC also experimented with "total football" in the first leg, but in contrast to KFC could not turn around the match (lost with total football 0-2 away and at home 1-2 with 4-4-1-1 vs. 4-3-2W-1). :(
Well, Kentucky will switch to normal systems, but Troll FC will give "total football" a chance and let it be Trolls system of the season.
