Nonsense winning tactics - (they say it's the "Dandelion"... mmmmkay)

This formation makes 0 sense in real life, it really looks like a plane.

Can you imagine 9 players in a row from box to box in real life??
Can you imagine 9 guys doing 33% of the field and the other 2 covering the remaining?

People would rather think they were in a queue, getting ready to play the ultimate 100 yards leapfrog contest, with a captain commanding the operations on each side.

Don't see what the problem is really, Legal formation, players on their positions.... managers choice. Others may not agree with it, but hey ho each to their own.

It's called Freedom of Choice.

I call this formation "the passive offensive". goal is to get the other players drinking tea and make believe, the match is postpone. when they dont pay attention the goalie will make a goal in 90 minute :cool:

I think the game engine is just screwed to be honest.

On Day 1 of the season I played against a team 3 leagues above me in the Cup, yet he had every player out of position, including a MR in goal and played an illegal formation. He didn't turn up to the game, I did. Full capacity in my ground etc.. All my players full of moral and between 95-100% full fitness. Got 80% possession, but drew the game 1-1.

Yesterday I decided to put my second string in for the second leg as I was annoyed and didn't bother watching the game. This time my opponent did, moved all his players into correct positions and played a 4-4-2, so no illegal formation. I had a player sent off and two injuries through the game. I won the second leg 4-0.

Says it all really.

I picked up 18 days of injuries across 5 players and a red card. I have one substitute I can play in the league match tomorrow and he is a goalie.

Nope.

Formations without Fulllbacks/Wingbacks must be deemed illegal, just like formations without Strikers.

Actually, in real life, a team can win without Strikers, but it can't survive without the men who cover the flanks.

Though they are not popular in RL as much, they are legal here. I have played both, TBH not very successfully usually. :D I like more defensive modules.

this is a tough formation to win against. but i think 4-4-2- classic pulls through. real life, its strange, yes, but here in T11, where real life has no meaning in terms of basing the foundation of the game, its a tough formation to beat.

um, isnt this called the circle-jerk formation? you can say they drink tea if you want....
