did they do something to illegal formation???

I played illegal formation vs his illegal formation and still got 80% possession.

how is that possible?

Only if they fixed the 3 on the wing issue

I won the game 5-1 with 80%. I played illegal with 3 on the right wing knowing his illegal formation will counter mine and it should be normal possession for both, effectively negating the illegal possession bonus for me.

what gives? is this just another Nordeus brainfart or???

It seems like some illegal formations are more illegal than others.

Seems like his formation break rules x2 and yours only x1 ;D

illegal formation vs illegal formation means equal footing...until now apparently. you would think that when they make changes to the game, they might announce these things. there was no degree of illegal before, so x2 or x3 or x1 means nothing....apparently.
