different guy in goal?

has anyone tried putting somebody else in goal besides a goalie? Do goalies even get injured?

I've never HAD to use my back up goalie and thought about dropping him. I could put in a DC who has defensive attributes better than my goalie.

Goalkeepers can injury as all other players, both while training and durign the matches.
Once I put a MC as goalkeeper during a match and he played just fine. As well as once I put a GK as ST in a very easy match and he scored 2 goals.

Yep when my GK got inured for a few matches replaced him with a striker.Did not make much difference to the results for that season and got 2 comfortable wins 4-0 and 3-1

Goalkeepers do get injured but less than other players...

Many people have putted some other defensive player as Goalkeeper and every one observation is - That it does not makes a difference...

But it you play a player out of position you will get a 2% bonus penalty as told by Moderator Sxrenity...

My GK got injured during a game and I had to put my ST as a Goalkeeper. However, I won 4-0

I don't think it make a difference except if you have penalty shots, then an ST would prolly not do as well as your best DC.

I have two GK on all my teams. I have had few GK injuries, but when they happened they were long term..
