I don't think that is the limit, i had like 2-3 big chances to score another goal in the last minutes but players missed.

Definitely in terms of numbers of chances, you can score much more than 9, it's the same for me, but don't you wonder whether the system made you miss those "big chances" because you had already reached the limit?

If the limit is 9 per half, then the game isn't going to let you score anymore. ie, your players will miss, get tackled/blocked etc etc

Yes, that's what I'm thinking as well, I'm sure I've heard of those results, but then again, I think they were talking about on aggregate. The biggest I've heard of is something like 24-0 on aggregate, by one of the usual suspects, dv8r if I'm not mistaken, or NTNK.
