yeh, just checked, on my transfer list at the moment I've got six 5* 18 yo's who look newly generated, they have various sponsors, not just Nordeus.
@ Gintaras on my server the five stars show up a bit over an hour after the fours.

He probably isn't a "gen" but that doesn't mean he won't play well!! I can't say it enough, the gems are fast trainers, but that in no way relates to how they will play on your team.
It is up to your management: how you apply the points he accrues, and how you play him. Sometimes it can be better to buy a player already trained, with his attributes changed from flat. Yes, I buy gens... but on all but my main team, I look at ones from teams too, because getting the points to skew his attributes will take too long without extra training, I try to find ones that already fit the template I have for that role.
I usually expect a gem to get crap ratings until I have some points applied, I ignore their ratings the first season I have them.. and that can include Scouts, as their attributes are flat too.
