If the season only has 4 days left, is it worth it to pick up players now in the transfer market?
This is a matter of personal choice. For instance: I have a few 4* players that won't progress any further before the season ends, therefore in a few days, the will drop to 3*. I've been browsing the TL, looking at players. I have seen a number of 5* players who are not far off the next quality star. So I've bid, and won a couple of them. Even if I don't manage to get them to the next level by the weekend, they will still start next season, 1* better than my current players. So I say, buying now can be a benefit, especially if many managers are NOT buying. You can pick up some useful additions without spending too many tokens bidding.Originally Posted by precator

Absolutely not. Your players will lose a star in the new season, so no point buying new players until the new season

What if they are free transfers or young players where you only spend 1 ticket?
Well if you're looking for a short term upgrade then do it... but long term still isnt worth it because you can get better players next season

is there any drawbacks of putting your players on the transfer market? Does it hurt their morale,etc?
I have another question about transfer.Should I sell player just before end of the season,or wait till new start and sel him on first days.If I will wait till next season my player will lose one star
i dont remember if the players loose their market value when u go next stage???
Also with my small experience from the game ,i believe that to take a 5* player which is close to next star before the end of the season,is a good choice to replace a sub player with small quality in your squad.
For example i have 2 MCs 23-24 level with 60-70 skill points to go for the next *,i bought 2 news 29 level with 7-10 skill points to next * even if i know that they will be minus 1 star in a few days,and i will sell after my 2 finals the 23-24 level players
