Aaargh, need to vent. Nothing more frustrating then cup matches. Seriously. Of course in the first round up against a team that is 2 levels higher and is abandoned. All players are like 30-34 years old. So first home match was pretty equal and the score was 1-1. Ok, lets get this over with I thought. Bought 2 new players. Upgraded my most important players so my quality was 2 points above him now instead of 2 points lower. Max bonus. Here we go.

Game starts. I see a lot of chances on my side. No goal. One against the beam, one on the inside of the sidebeam. Sigh. The number of shots is growing exponential. He gets a red card. All right, this is good. He has 2 shots on target, I have 7. 84th minute 0-1 for me. Yeahhhhhh. 85th minute, 1-1. Seriously, sigh. So we get overtime. In the end I have 29 shots with 11 on target against his 10 shots and 4 on target. Score stays 1-1. Penalties it is. I select my penalty takers. His first 3 penalties all in the same corner, no movement from my keeper??? But his goalie with penalty stopper SA stops 2 penalties. So game over. Game over against an abandoned team with only 14 players. My attackers score 8's and his 6's. My defense 7's though against his 8-9's. Sometimes this game is just blerghhhh.

Strange thing though. I selected my 7 most attacking players and as a third penalty taker my DC shows up???? He scored thank god but why was that?
