    The old favourite...Tokens for youth players.

    I play my game on my iPhone which is great, and since the last two Nordeus upgrades whereby you can send/receive gifts from your friends' list and upgrade stadium facilities it seems more of a level playing field. However, it is impossible to sign the better quality player from your academy within the 7 days you have to sign him. Only when he comes through to the main squad do you know how many tokens it costs to sign him. The current debarcle is 18...

    Everyone has access to one token a day, and that is fair. I play everyday so I can opt for the 5 tokens in 4 days sponsership. I cannot get any extra tokens without buying them with real money which defeats the object of playing in my eyes. Everyone should have the option of signing the academy player if they choose and therefore they should cost a maximum of 7 tokens ie your daily token for the week without you making another bid on any other player.

    Alternatively the game should let you go into token debit, so if you decide to sign the player worth 18 tokens in effect after a week you go to -11, and it'll take you 12 days to get back into credit, where you can start bidding again. Lets be honest who actually spends even 7 tokens acquiring a player? Generally only those who 'buy' token packs in the first place. It is wholly unfair that the player I have created in my academy I cannot keep and who will go onto the transfer market as a free transfer and be picked up for way less than 18 tokens.

    most of my players (level 5) are aged 19 and 20, 5 star and i`v just had a player from youth 18yrs old rated at 3star for 12 tokens, why would i want to waste 12 on 3 star when i can get better players either in transfer market or make an offer in the negotiation part for 9 tokens, i`m stupid not dumb, they defo have to tweek youth players tokens

    But it would work, because you can only go 'overdrawn' on tokens once by definition. Yes you would have one good player but you couldn't sign anyone else at all until you get back into credit.

    I don't get your point. A season is 28 days long so you can get 30+ tokens a season that's more than enough to sign one young player a season.

    Even if don't have enough tokens (which you should) there's always the free youth player to sign and develop.

    Sure it is provided you don't want to improve the rest of your squad as well. At the end of each season you have retirees and players who are inadequate and get sold if you've been promoted and are in the champions league. It normally costs approx 15-20 tokens at the end/start of a season to add 3-5 players to the squad ready for the new season. In effect the game is asking for the same amount of tokens for a single player. You don't have the option of making an offer for a player on the mobile version and it is extremely rare that you get a player with less than 3-4 tokens bid - on lots of occasions you save 10-15 tokens and waste most of them because you get outbid. At times it is more economical to use your tokens to buy health or rest packs. There is no doubt that academy players are vastly overpriced in terms of the tokens needed to secure them.

    how can they be overpriced when one is free?

    In the end everyone is playing by the same rules and we all manage to field a full team every season just fine. It may not be exactly as good a team as we would like but that's real life.

    The free player is generally the poorest player in your squad and can never develop as quickly as you get promoted, even to be "average" by the following year. That's fine: you may choose to take him develop him or sell him. However both of the academy players are YOUR players to begin with and you should have the realistic option of signing them if you want them. Sometimes you won't because you already have players in that position, but you cant expect managers to hoarde 15-23 tokens solely for securing one player when you don't know which position they play or how many tokens it's going to cost. And the whole point is that everyone doesn't play by the same rules - you don't have the same options on the mobile version as you do on the PC version of the game, where tokens can be acquired much more freely.

    At the end of the day you spend money on creating youth training etc so why do you need to spend tokens to sign them also. fcuking waste of time doing that part of the game to be honest

    I wouldn't have built the youth facility if it wasn't needed to upgrade the others.
