If you sell a player, you only get money

You can get tokens for a player only if somebody will make you an offer for him, without you to put him on sale (via Negotions)

Do you mean buying and selling a scout? If you sell on auctions, you only get money. If someone makes a negotiation bid, he might offer tokens too for your player.
