Is it worth it to buy a 5 star player now towards the end of the year? I am not top 7 so I won't advance. Just wanted your guys opinions..

I don't see why not...any 5 Star Player would be an asset to most teams! Just keep in mind that he'll age 1 more year at the end of the season.

I think you shouldnt buy one, buy as many 5* players as you can.
Because there is no 'bidding war' at the end of the season and its much more logical to build up your team if you'll not advance to the next level.

You'll save a lot of tokens
And if you can log in early in the morning, do that tomorrow morning.
I bet u can buy 6 players for 10 tokens (max)

Really good if you don`t go upper then try to get younger and best players you can !

I'd say fill your boots! It will be difficult to get those 5* players at the beginning of next season, this is another benefit of not winning promotion.

Any good young about to level 4 star or 5 star's I would snap up if I wasn't getting promoted. First 1-5 days of the new season will be bidding wars, so makes sense in your case to buy now.

I lucked out and got a quality 19 player last night on the cheap.... I'm rapidly running out of time to pull another miracle... very cash poor right now... so it looks like I need to find a good strategy at season's beginning....
