Ah, so the players gain or lose quality depending on what division they are in? So, say, for example, a player was 4* in Div 2, he would be 5* in Div 1) or is the scale smaller than that?

Yes. The requirements for each star rating change per level. This obviously affects your Squad when they are promoted too: 25Q 5* player at level 2 becomes 25Q 4* player in level 3.

Ah I see Hence why players at level 4 etc can make a killing from lowbie players by selling thier "rejects" as it where. I see a lot of players I buy have never even played a game
