Academy Players

Is it ever worth it to spend on the tokens player??? I signed the non-token player, but at my level he looks beyond my help. I put him for auction and no one bit. The token player is a 4* and costs 24 tokens! That is a lot! Is it safe to assume he will perform well and have a great training pace? At this rate, it is more worth putting tokens towards training or just buying a scouted player.

What are your thoughts?

the 24 token players are indeed fast trainers. So if you power train your players and have tokens to spend thats the way to go, otherwise I would not suggest wasting tokens on the academy players. I do not, but I also am on the old transfer market. On the new transfer market with the limited available players it is sometimes cheaper to avoid bidding wars and just take your academy players.

i won`t bother with token youth now as i got one for 24 tokens and he was useless with training despite what read about them being fast trainer`s before i got him, with non token depending on what level you are ( need to be on level 7 or above ) and their rating plus how early in season you get, i sign and train till they are one skill away from 3 star then they auto go on neg list and just wait for bid, best i got from mon token youth was 5 tokens

The token price is random, look to is market value, not to is token price to decide If he is a fast trainer or not.

Also, once negotiation starts, you negotiate with tokens??? I am still only level 3.

Lastly, I cannot see what the market value is of the player before you sign him. So that doesn't help me in this case. I know this is what is used to decide fast trainers.

q/1 the transfer is

a - new is no more than 25 player`s and on market for no more than 1hr 10 min << donkey market old market ( great ) 80 to 120 players and on list for 3 hrs

q/2 you can neg from level 4 but only if player`s are 5 star and 1 skill away from scout when level 5 you can do with 4 star player`s to be 1 skill away from 5 star and each level you can do same with 3 star and so on

q/3 with more tokens the better the price

edit; with q2 IF you get an offer for player you can set selling price then it`s just waiting for them to accept or not and neg goes for 24 hrs

More than half my squad is made up of academy players, almost all trained up to scout level some with special abilities.
Training speed wise it doesn't seem to go that a 24 token player will automatically train faster than a 12 token player.
What he is though, is of a higher level when you get him, so less training.
The non token players definitely train far slower but they are free so it's worth signing just to sell and get cash.

Question for Gogs67. When you say you fast train your players. Are you buying tokens? Or farming? I am able to farm, but that doesn't seem to be enough to keep up from the seasonal star drops.
