Transfer won, no player, tokens gone ?????

I won a transfer battle in 10 rounds, had the notification and the green highlighted confirmation that I have won and the player was not in my squad. They did not took my money away but the tokens are gone. Now in my transfers screen there is no more green notification for the player I just won, so I have no proof.

Did anybody else had this happened? What should I do? Any ideas?

There can be a delay up to a couple hours if the player was scheduled for a match, or if one of the managers' clocks didn't match the server.
