Placed in a higher level competition?

This season I am placed in a League where EVERYONE, Yes, EVERYONE is one level HIGHER than myself.
Don't you think thats a bit unfair? I placed third last season when the people of last season who were 1st & 2nd place are now placed in a League of THE SAME level as they are (and me). I think that is a bit weird and unfair. I'm losing ALL my games as I can't compete with the rest. The other people are passing through easily as they are in a league of the same level. Why is this even occuring?
Ps. Funny detail: when last season started, ALL players from the League were my friends. Now there are 0 friends in my league.

i reckon they had some kind of melt down as i was placed with higher level teams in the Champions League when we are suppose to meet same level teams, unlike the cup you can meet higher or lower level teams, with the league IF you are near the top of server then you could be grouped with higher level teams but look at this way also if you finish outside top 7 those that come up next season should be weaker than your team and you will/should avoid those that you had this season

I know i`m not on top of my server as there should be 3/4 levels above me so why i got level above me in Champions League is beyond me and as Normal Nordeus keeping there mouth shut when i ask how/why ?

This happens when the league above you does not have enough teams in it due to drop out abaondend teams whatever so they promote teams up two levels instead of one to make the numbers up.

If so, what if I'd promote? Then I'd promote in a league where everyone is a level higher than me, would I promoto to a level higher aswell? Let's take my scenario: I'm lvl 14, rest of my league lvl 15. If I promote, would I get in a league of lvl 16 or lvl 15?
Besides that, why would they pick ME, to put in a league full of lvl 15, when number 1 and 2 are now in a normal league with their lvl 14. They are on the same server so there must be some kind of cause, dont u think?

Not to my knowledge. Happened one time before when half of the league was one lvl higher, rest equal but never for the entire league. Happened to a friend of mine aswell, who was having the same problem a few times. (he's lvl 22)
I think when one is in the top 4, the chance of that person being in a league next season of players with a higher level is bigger. It gotta do with the registration date, can't see any other reason as it's random.

Didnt promote last season and STILL all players are a lvl higher than myself. AGAIN. Truly Fascinating.
