What have you learned from last season?
Not a lot. I intended to play the game in a semi light mode, taking a step back, keeping a traditional 4-4-2 and seeing what happens. Troll results were common not just for me, but for several in my league, but my core goal of promotion was met quite simply.
Where did you place last season?
Won the league and the Champions League. Sacrificed the Cup at the start of the season and intend to do the same tomorrow.
What's your current level?
I will be level 17 when the new season starts. I still hold a consecutive promotion and consecutive CL qualification record.
What's your budget for this season?
I've just broke the 1B figure. With prize money to come tomorrow I think I have got to the point where money isn't much of an issue. I've enough tokens to bring in replacements if I need to but I don't intend to do much as far as signing new players is concerned. I've a few hundred of each medical pack too, so I shouldn't have any issues regarding improving moral/fitness/injuries if needed although I intend to use them as sparingly as possible.
Who do you want to replace?
I feel my current team will be more than good enough to see me through another season. I will look at the transfer market and see if great players are on it and I might have a dabble and replace two or three if it seems wise, but my intention is to stick with what I have got. Tomorrow I will be entering my 3rd season with the same 16 players being at the club, with the others entering their 4th year. I feel like my team is settled and I know what to do with the players I have so intend to give them at least two weeks of the next season to see how they perform. Should be more than enough to get promotion and in theory be strong enough to keep my consecutive qualification for the CL going too.
What are your goals for this season?
Use as little Tokens as possible - and if probable actually use 0 tokens. Minimum expectation is promotion and I will be shocked if the team I currently have can't get me a top 7 finish. I will be a little surprised if the current team I have won't challenge for the title and be in with a chance to win it.
Farming in the UK has all but ended now (Plus I can't be bothered any more so am devoting next to no time to it) so my other goal is to make a note of how many Tokens I have when I sign in tomorrow and see how many I have at the end of the season. I will then set that difference as my "Transfer kitty" for the following season, knowing that I currently have a nice stockpile to fall back on if my team starts to bomb.
