Weak bunch of Scouts

Is it just me or are the Scouts available weaker than normal? Maybe I'm wrong but it seems each league so far is approximately a 5 point increase from the last. The highest Scouts should end in 4 or 9 and decrease from there.

I'm level 8. My team average is 52.4. Scouts available last season topped out at 59. Scouts should be 64 now, right? Instead, there THREE guys who are 63. Nine guys are 62. Five are 61. One is 60! This is the worst crop of Scouts I've ever seen.

This only my 8th season maybe I'm just a noob, but is this common or did I get jacked? Burning 50 Tokens and 16mil on a 63SA who may not much better than a 59 on auction for 10mil may be too steep a price.

You ofton get lists like that!, you never get them all ending in 4 or 9 just the odd one or two and ofton they can be quite old, 28/29!, they will be good though but not always the first year!, token scouts are actually an investment, I have used scouts for a few seasons now and find some perform straight away and others take a season to settle in, meaning average this season very good the next one!.

I guess everyone's scouts are different, I see a lot of my scouts are 3 and above this season. However since I've bought 5 Nordeus gens yesterday, and some scout from last season are still 6* this season, I didnt find the need to buy more :p

On my list there is 1x39 and 5x38s, 6x37 & 5x36 others. 5 are under 24 yo - including 1x22.

My scout list this season was very poor. Thankfully my team is in a strong enough state that I can go a season without improving the squad. Most of my current team are mid 5 star so I intend to stick with them. Im also on the old market so if I need a player I have a decent chance of finding a good one.

Yup...the price is way too steep. So instead of a Scout, I went to the Auction and grabbed a 59 MC and a 59 DC to shore the middle. They replaced a 48 DC and a 51 MC. I ended up spending about 24mil total and about 6-7 tokens total in the bidding process for those two players.

Just realised today that all my scout player list are 7stars (world class). Should i buy or not buy??

I would buy only the 23-26 year olds.

Yes I have a good dilemma. After so many seasons there is yet something new i learnt today.

There is one player with 1 level higher than the rest of us in the league. Which explains why the scout players are 7 stars instead of 6 stars. But the transfer listed players all remain at 5 stars max.

This is about the only good time to buy scouts, get them the youngest and highest rated you can so they will still gain at least some skill points over the season, hopefully get them mid 7* by the end of the season and, if you're promoted, they will still be good scouts next season.

I just got 2 of them. one GK (128) and one DMC (127). They are both 2 or 3 quality away from being 8*!

That said. The rest of the players (except for the with one level higher) in my leaque can also buy the 7* scouts and make it a level playing field.

its also worth remembering it isnt just 'your' scout list. other players have access to exactly the same scout list. so, sometimes the scout list may be poor because some other lucky player has taken all the plum 22 year olds ending in 4 or 9 and lame 28 year olds have replaced them. that is why sometimes when rechecking the scout list a new player who wasnt there earlier can appear. another player has bought one and a new player has generated.

Ha, there is nothing worse than when you spot a scout you want, then go back an hour or so later to see someone else got to him first.

Or, you buy a 27yr old scout with a quality ending in 7 because you need cover in that position, then he is replaced by a 23yr old ending in a 9 in exactly the same position. You get the feeling of "bloody hell, just paid 50 Tokens for him and the new lad is better!"
