    And the result is...

Kao FC 0-3 July Fourth League Round 18
Kao FC 82.6 4-1-2-1-2 Wide Diamond - July Fourth 99.8 4-4-2 Classic Papaleo playing GK

Papaleo keeps a clean sheet playing in goal for July Fourth after we decided to throw the striker in goal after not being productive on the other end of the pitch this season, but to be honest It was our brilliant defenders that did the job in all honesty, especially Ryan McNamara who made many tackles and cleared everything, because Papaleo was playing in goal, there was a possession penalty and the home team had most of the possession (52-48), But on the football side of things, Pepp Crawford opened the scoring for us on the 30 minute mark against the run of play after the home side could not find a way past R.McNamara, Then Zidane had a brilliant opportunity after skinning a couple of defenders to make it 2-0 just before HT, in the second half, it was a bit stale, the home side should of scored Tirana throughball found Toth 1v1 against Papaleo but he put it wide, Our other goal came midway through the second half when a Novotny corner found Robbie Savage in the penalty area to head it in and make sure of the comfortable win.

Goals: Crawford (30), Zidane (43), Savage (63) MOTM: R.McNamara, Papaleo got a '7' playing as GK.

    Chronicles from the Eagles...

Cup: my boys are scheduled to play loos FC from Bangkok in the semi in a couple of days. Baring any event, this is team that will easily bested over 2legs - return leg will be played at our home ground in front of maximum capacity crowd. We shall not speculate for now about the finals until we scale this hurdle.

Champions league: A comprehensive 1-7 away win in the 1st leg quarter finals against one of the varied Asenal FC another Bangkok team almost guarantee us a place in the semi finals even if we don't kick a ball. Our second team lead my player manager- now bench warming club legend O D Ben will lead in line for the return leg in a couple of hours.

League: This will surely go down to the wire as predicted. 3teams are battling for 1st position. After match day 18: The eagles are on 49points, Aliance FC is on 48points and Fc cool runner on 45points. There is fight going on everywhere in the league...the fight for 4th position is also heating up, even the relegation battle is a dog fight as just 8points separate 6th from 13th position with 8games to play. It's to close to call in this league with about 12active players all fighting with tooth and nail while spilling blood.

This is a challenged we relish and a league victory this season we go down in history as the most competitive....even a second place will not be totally disappointing knowing fully well we did all we could? Back to reality of match day 19. The eagles travel to Holon Israel to face Aliance Fc in a top table clash in front on their 43000 screaming fans. Both clubs 1st team rating is 45+. This a match of all ages...pundits are all over this but both teams are evenly matched all over the pitch, with Aliance having superior defensive line and the eagles a slight edge in offence tanks to Crawford and Batistuta. We also have to be weary of the attacking threat of their striking duo of Aguero and Choi - both very dangerous players in the league! Book makers just tipped the odds a little in favour of Alliance because it an home match but never bet against the boys from down under.

Talking tactics Alliance s a team that plays only one formation 100% the time 4-3(w)-1-2. This team shows that playing countering formation is a farce. Just stick with the formation that suits your playing philosophy while change every game and spoil player bonding?

I think you can be happy with 2nd in the league this season given the strength of RONPEST.

Yes you never know, the underdog may have its day, after all it's proven already with a few draws hes had this season that he is not invincible.

We go 12 points clear at the top of the league having beaten the team in 2nd place.

It was a close game at the start, Zamo FC having more of the chances in the early stages of the game. Balbuena gave away a free kick, Farhang's shot was heading in but Begovic saved it well. Balbuena turned from villain to hero when he struck to give us the lead on 29 minutes. It was still close in the 2nd half, Zamo FC almost equalised but Puangchan's missed right in front of goal. Two quick goals killed off the match and Zamo FC paid for their missed chances, first Suarez from a corner and then Fabregas from another corner. Petersen extended our lead to 4 goals from a free kick, the score not reflecting Zamo FC's effort in the match but we take the 3 points in style.

    Goals: Balbuena (29'), Suarez (54'), Fabregas (57'), Petersen (74')
    MOTM: Petersen

I can also confirm that the 3W-1-3W-2N-1 can beat the 3N-2(DML/DMR)-2-1-2.
What tactics with this formation? My bro play against this in CL, in 1st leg was beated at home with 3N-1-4-1-1. Received 2 goals from free-kicks and he failed to score. We have to try to return, at least 2-0 to force overtime.

    Champions With 7 Games Remaining???

July Fourth vs The Gunner Fc.
    FENIXJAS vs Besiktas
    kamikaze vs Sungurlu FC

IF we win then we will be champions if both FENIXJAS and kamikaze fail to win. If not then we will be champions the next day with 6 games remaining if we beat kamikaze.

If it wasn't for that stupid 0-0 draw, we would of been champions with 7 games left without any results from other games.

Yes if we win and kamikaze and/or FENIXJAS win we would be 21 points ahead and a far superior GD but would not be mathematically champions yet.
