Kamikaze 0-1 July Fourth League Round 7

It was almost kamikaze play but July Fourth as they took on a very wierd formation, A match you could say July Fourth perhaps edged it and should of done better with the chances we had, Zidane had 2 wonderful chances in the first half but couldn't find the target, still playing from AMR of course but he's learned the position, so he should be doing better, Papaleo had a shot blocked when looked certain to score, Kamikaze had a late 1st half free-kick but Novotny headed it away to make sure it was 0-0 @ HT, 2nd half the home side grew stronger and confident of getting a win against a 'hurt' July Fourth team which lost earlier in the CL, but everytime our defence was able to stay organised and clear or block any shots on goal, 73 minutes in after L.McNamara and Mensah missed a chance each for July Fourth we won a free-kick, Our decision to spend 9 medics for Mensah proved to be a very good decision because he scored it, and we were left to defend our lead for the reminder of the game, Kamikaze came close through Camolese but Tony Adams blocked it and their lone striker Tas couldn't beat our defence, The had a late free-kick and R.McNamara was able to cut that out and we hanged on for an important 1-0 win.

It keeps our chances in the league of 26-0-0 alive but on current form like today it wont happen, Its worth noting that in 7 league games this season we still have not conceded a goal so far which in effect puts on target to beat our lowest conceded record in a league season which is 4 goals.

    Goal: Mensah (73) MOTM: Mensah

Stefan Zhekov, Our reserve striker has been injured in training for 5 days.

Thats 4 Injuries in the second half, now really this is something that shouldn't happen at all. I know injuries are common on Top Eleven, but this seriously is going too far.

League, round 7 - Perfect Tactics 5-0 LOL FC

Petersen started the rout, putting us 1-0 up in the first 10 minutes. It was fairly quiet for the rest of the half. Cazorla doubled our lead in the 2nd half then Petersen with a chance to put us 3-0 up from a penalty, missed! 2nd time in 2 games that he missed from the spot. Suarez gave us the 3-0 lead minutes later and then he got his 2nd minutes later. Right at the end, Cazorla's long range strike found the net making it 5-0.

    Goals: Petersen (9'), Suarez (59', 67'), Cazorla (53', 90')
    MOTM: Suarez

24 hours until the next game, time for some more power training!

LOL FC... what sort of stupid name is that?

I really don't know what happened with my team today, just seemed to struggle.

2nd place Besiktas lost so I'm 7 points clear already and are the only remaining unbeaten team left in my league.

LOL FC is so weird, he bought a scout player and plays an illegal formation.

Today wasn't my best day either, only 2-0 against 10 men in the Champions League (my 4-3-2-1 vs his 4-1-3-2) and then 5-0 vs an illegal formation (Petersen penalty miss). Game engine may be under the weather a bit, hopefully it clears up by tomorrow.

    The Monday Report.

LGE: JONATHON FC 1-3 LONDON CITY
City carried on stumbling along again, in this game in America. Seamus Flanagan scored the only first half goal after 30 minutes. Dave Kennedy added to the tally after 65. Jonathon pulled one back on 71, but Flanagan bagged his second on 83. With two goals, Flanagan scooped mom.

CL: KURDISTAN FC 1-2 LONDON CITY
Another under-par performance from the team. Teddy King opened the scoring after 38 minutes. Seamus Flanagan doubled the lead (54), early in the second half. The home side poached a goal after 62, and began to look dangerous. But then they had a man red carded on 75, which just about guaranteed our victory. MOM: Brian Gibbs.

Although we've won all our matches over the last 3 days, we have been nowhere near convincing, and we've rode our luck at times. Still joint top of the league, and top of our champ lge group, with 12 points from 4 games.

If it pisses about with me like it did today, I may just revert back to 4-4-2.

How would Zidane, Crawford and Papaleo fit into the 4-4-2 classic? Am I right in thinking that Zidane is ST/AMR?

At the moment Zidane is struggling for form, So if went back to 4-4-2 for a while, He may miss out on a few games or be benched a bit, Papaleo has been average of late and Crawford is probably performing best out the 3 of them. My best player this season so far has surprisingly been L.McNamara.

You could do what I do and rotate Papaleo with Zidane in the striker spot. It's what I do with Mata and Cazorla and they've been outstanding so far
